Fulham have been chasing a permanent deal for Mitrovic throughout the summer after his impressive loan spell with the club last season.
Mitrovic smashed in goals for Fulham as they earned promotion back to the Premier League, with the forward not set for a return to Craven Cottage.
Rafa Benitez has decided that Mitrovic will not be part of his plans next season and has sanctioned the deal to let him join their, now, Premier League rivals.
