Newcastle are closing in on a deal to sign Stefano Sturaro from Juventus in a €15 million deal.
Calcio Mercato report that the player’s move to the Premier League is not far from completion, with Sturaro looking for regular first-team football next season.
The report claims that the player has agreed to join the Magpies this summer.
Sturaro has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League after failing to hold down a spot in the Juventus side last season.

The combative midfielder was limited to just 12 appearances in Serie A, something he is looking to improve.
Sturaro could be seen as a direct replacement for Mikel Merino, who is returning to Spain after just one season with Newcastle.
Rafa Benitez is in the market to improve his squad over the summer. The Spaniard knows he needs to add quality to his side if he wants to build on their first season back in the top flight.
