Newcastle United have extensively scouted Valon Berisha across the course of the last two seasons and in recent times, the player confirmed that he was well aware of the Magpies’ interest.
Speaking to Norwegian outlet TV2, as cited in a report from the Chronicle, Berisha confirmed that Newcastle are keen to land him and discussed how he has dreamed of playing in the Premier League for some time now.

The attacking midfielder enjoyed another good season with Red Bull Salzburg last term and it seems Newcastle remain interested to tie up a summer deal for the player.
It’s claimed in the Chronicle’s report that Newcastle have not yet launched bids for potential targets this summer, but players have evidently been identified ahead of what promises to be an intriguing season for the club.
