Newcastle target Andrej Kramaric has had a €50 million price-tag placed on him by Hoffenheim, report Goal.
Bayern Munich are also reported to be amongst the keenest suitors for the Croatian, who has just finished his third season at the club.
The forward was sold to the Bundesliga outfit from Leicester City in 2016, having spent the previous year on loan in Southern Germany.
With a record of 102 goals in 179 games for Die Kraichgauer has endeared him to both fans and management, and as such the club are not willing to say goodbye to the 27-year-old without receiving a hefty transfer fee in return.

Hoffenheim sporting director Alexander Rosen claims the club rejected a bid for Kramaric in January, but acknowledged they would consider offers over the summer.
Rosen said:
I never rule out anything, that’s not in our business,
We had an offer of €30m (£26.3m/$34.8m) for Andrej from Italy during the winter the break. That was not an option for us.
But what happens if €50m is offered I cannot say.
With a contract running to the end of the 2019/20 season, Hoffenheim may take the chance to cash in on Kramaric while they still can.
