Throughout the course of last season, Newcastle United extensively scouted Hoffenheim star Andrej Kramaric, according to a report from the Chronicle Live.
The Magpies are on the lookout for attacking options ahead of next season and a number of strikers have been linked with a move. A new name to be mentioned is Kramaric, who had a fine season in Germany.
Having enjoyed an involved role in the attacking areas for Julian Nagelsmann’s side, Kramaric netted 13 goals in the Bundesliga last term and also contributed with six assists as Hoffenheim enjoyed another impressive campaign.
A number of options are being considered by Rafa Benitez but it seems Kramaric is a player who has been placed on the club’s shortlist, with preparations for next season well underway.
Kramaric is likely to play a big part in Croatia’s World Cup campaign this summer and Newcastle will undoubtedly watch the player with great interest in Russia.
