Newcastle predicted XI: West Brom (H)

Rafa Benitez will be hoping his side can bounce back after their four-game winning run came to end on Monday, with a narrow defeat against Everton.

The Magies face bottom of the league West Brom, who need a win to avoid confirmed relegation.

Newcastle are still unbeaten at St James’ in 2018, and will expect to extend that run to continue for another week against the struggling Baggies, managed by caretaker Darren Moore.

Since the departure of Alan Pardew, the Midlands side have seen an upturn in form, taking points from both Manchester United and Liverpool, however, they are still destined for the drop down into the Championship.

A win on Saturday could further cement United’s chances of a top half finish in their first season back in the top flight.

Christian Atsu is a doubt for this game as he was forced to miss Monday’s game at Goodison.

Benitez is unlikely to make to many changes to the team, after such a successful run of results.

Here’s how we expect Newcastle to line-up on Saturday…

matchday.
