Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic is keen to bring striker Aleksandar Mitrovic to Craven Cottage on a permanent deal this summer, according to Chronicle Live.
Mitrovic has taken the Championship by storm since joining Fulham in January, scoring 10 goals in 12 starts for the promotion-chasing side.
However the 23 year old has failed to establish himself in Rafa Benitez’ plans at Newcastle, meaning he could be allowed to leave come the end of the season.

Fulham will have a battle on their hands signing the Serbian international if they do not go up, with Premier League clubs such as West Ham reportedly chasing his signature.
Whites boss Jokanovic admitted that any deal is in the hands of Newcastle, with Fulham not sure if they will be able to get Mitrovic to leave St James’ Park.
“Everything is open, part of another side if you ask me about if I want him with us, yes I want. If you ask if they want to stay it’s probably a yes, but in realistic life we are going to see. This job is for another side and not under my control.”
When asked about Mitrovic’s future, Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez said:
“We then have to discuss his future in May. In May we will see and if he is doing well, fine no problem.”
