La Liga duo Real Betis and Villarreal are keeping tabs on Newcastle attacker Ayoze Perez, according to the Daily Mail.
The report claims that the Spanish duo are considering a summer move for the forward who has impressed in recent weeks.
However, the forward has told Spanish radio station Club Deportivo that he sees his future in the Premier League.
My priority is to keep playing in the Premier League and if it’s to take a step forward in my career then even better. I’m happy at Newcastle but I don’t know what will happen in the summer. I’ve been here four years and that is a long time.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed a strong second half of the season, coming into his own in 2018.
The forward has scored two goals in as many games, all-but securing Newcastle’s position in the Premier League this season.
Since joining the club from Tenerife, Perez has often been linked with big-money moves away from the club. A lot was expected of the young Spaniard when he joined the club.
Tottenham failed with a move for the player in 2016 and Perez opted to stay with the Magpies during their brief stint in the Championship.
