Newcastle’s apparent efforts to land Garry Rodrigues from Galatasaray have been well documented in recent weeks and it seems the winger is a genuine target for the Magpies.
Rodrigues, formerly of Greek side PAOK, has been attracting interest over the course of the season and Newcastle are claimed to have made a move for the winger in January.
Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim is understood to be a fan of Rodrigues’ and is therefore reluctant to offload him in the near future.

Newcastle’s interest is seemingly strong, though, and if reports are to be believed, they will take a closer look at the Dutch-born wide man once again this evening.
Bursaspor go head to head with Galatasaray and it’s been claimed that Newcastle have sent representatives to monitor Rodrigues’ progress in the match out in Turkey.
However, it seems they will not be alone. Sevilla, Lyon and Fiorentina are also reported to be keeping a close eye on Rodrigues.
