Newcastle Predicted XI: Manchester City (H)

Newcastle ended a nine-match winless run last time out when they travelled to the London Stadium and defeated West Ham 3-2 in an end-to-end thriller which saw Rafa Benitez’s side put daylight between themselves and the relegation zone.

With the takeover still looming over St James’ Park with few knowing what will happen in the January transfer window as a result, Benitez and his staff can only focus on each game as they come and they don’t come much tougher than their next one.

Manchester City visit the North East this evening as they look to extend their remarkable unbeaten run in the Premier League and make the gap between themselves and city rivals Manchester United in second an whopping 15 points.

Will Benitez make many changes to his side for this one? Here is our Newcastle predicted XI.

matchday.
