Mike Ashley was pictured with Amanda Staveley on Wednesday night holding talks of a proposed takeover of Newcastle United in a London curry house, as per Daily Mail.
The pair were seen at an Indian restaurant called the Paradise in Hampstead, just 20 minutes away from Ashley’s family home in Totteridge.
Staveley and PCP Capital Partners made a formal offer to buy Newcastle United Football Club for approximately £250 million, but Ashley will only allow the Toon to be sold if Staveley raises the offer to £300 million.
Ashley also wishes for there to be no clauses attached to the proposed deal, and then he will listen to Staveley’s offer.

Reports that claimed Staveley will walk away from the deal after having her first bid rejected have been played down, despite suggestions of a second interested party.
Sports Direct owner Ashley said that he wishes for a deal to be done by Christmas, however, the chances of this happening are very slim, but things are still looking positive for a takeover.
