Crystal Palace, Huddersfield Town and Aston Villa are reportedly keen to sign Rolando Aarons from Newcastle United.

According to the Mirror, clubs are lining up to land the young winger, who has not been getting regular game time up at St James’ Park.

Aarons was once tipped for big things but has seen his promise slowly stagnate over the years, with him now struggling to get a look-in ahead of the senior wingers in Newcastle’s squad.

The 22-year-old is capable of playing on either flank and possesses an abundance of pace and trickery.

It’s stated by the Mirror that the potential suitors are hopeful of tying up a cut-price deal for Aarons given his recent lack of involvement with the Magpies.

Rafa Benitez will surely be keen to retain Aarons not just because of his potential, but because of his lack of options in the wide areas, worsened by Christian Atsu’s recent absence.
