According to Chronicle Live, Newcastle right-back, DeAndre Yedlin, has not held back in criticising himself after his performance in Newcastle’s 3-0 defeat at home to Watford on Saturday.
The American, who joined Newcastle in 2016, has faced up to his and his teams performance on Saturday, which many Newcastle fans were horrified about.

There’s not many times where footballers let their ego go and admit to their mistakes but Yedlin has gone against the trend and has come out in a post match interview to admit it was one of his worst performances in a Magpies shirt.
Yedlin said “It’s probably up there.” when asked if it was his worst game for Newcastle.
He added with
We are just trying to stay positive. It’s very hard to after a performance like that, but it’s what you have to do.
We are going to have drops like this so you have to try to stay positive and bounce back. We have a game on Tuesday, so in that sense, we can try to move on quickly.
Newcastle come up against struggling West Brom in their next game and Yedlin and The Magpies believe they could end their awful run when they play The Baggies
