Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez does not expect to leave the club in the immediate future, regardless of what happens with the impending takeover.
As per a report in the Mirror, Benitez has given the club a huge boost as they prepare for the possibility of a change of hands.
I am quite happy with this group of players. They are improving and learning. So I think (I’ll be here). I don’t see any difficult thing now.

Businesswoman Amanda Staveley has tabled a £300 million bid for the club, a figure that appears to be lower than Mike Ashley’s asking price, which is closer to £400 million.
Ashley has made it clear he wants to sell the club before the new year, but Staveley made need to up her bid.
Reports have suggested that significant funds could be added to the transfer kitty at St James’ Park should the takeover go through, however, Benitez is not expecting big changes in January.
I don’t know the (financial fair-play) figures of the club. I know it is not that you can say we will have £100million — no chance. What we know: we will not have too much money if it is a new ownership, and if it is the same one, the figures could be very similar.
