Leicester City striker Islam Slimani is keen to leave in the January transfer window, amid reports that Newcastle United are keen, according to Turkish-Football.
The report claims that Fenerbahce are keeping a close eye on the Algerian striker, and could look to move in for him in the January transfer window. However, with a host of Premier League clubs linked with Slimani, it looks as though he’ll be spoilt for choice if he is able to leave Leicester.
Slimani has struggled to establish himself on the Premier League stage since moving to the King Power Stadium from Sporting CP, but is undoubtedly a talented striker.
Rafa Benitez is keen to add to his squad in the January transfer window, and it looks as though Slimani may be one of his striking targets.
Slimani is seemingly regarded as a backup player for Claude Puel at Leicester, and he could be on the move in the mid-season window.
