# Newcastle Predicted XI: Bournemouth (H)

Newcastle United will be looking to get themselves back to winning ways on Saturday as they welcome Bournemouth to St James’ Park.

The Magpies suffered a 1-0 defeat away to Burnley last Monday, and will know that a win against the Cherries will help to further solidify their position in the top half of the Premier League.

Bournemouth will not back down without a fight though. Eddie Howe’s side have endured a treacherous start to the campaign and sit in 19th place.

They head into the game following a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to reigning champions Chelsea last weekend.

Rafa Benitez will be without a key man, however, in Mikel Merino. The Spaniard is currently sidelined through injury, which is sure to come as a big blow to the Magpies.
