Newcastle travel to Wales this weekend to face Swansea as the Magpies go in search of back-to-back Premier League victories.
The Championship winners are likely to be without manager Rafa Benitez, who’s unable to make the trip after having an operation during the week.
Despite not being able to make the game, Benitez has some big calls to make with defensive injuries and Jonjo Shelvey returning to selection.
Here is how we think Newcastle could line up.
GK - Rob Elliot
Elliot has been a mainstay in goal this season and that looks set to continue.
RB - DeAndre Yedlin
The American was an injury doubt but with Chancel Mbemba also injured, he could be forced to start at right-back.
CB - Florian Lejeune
The summer signing is likely to return after overcoming an ankle injury that has halted the start of his Newcastle career.
CB - Ciaran Clark
Clark impressed during the early stages of the season and has done enough to keep his place in the side.
LB - Javier Manquillo
With Mbemba sidelined the Spaniard could be forced to shift over to the left against Swansea.
CM - Mikel Merino
The Borussia Dortmund man has looked a cut above at Newcastle so far this season and he will be key if the Magpies want to come away with anything on Sunday.
CM - Isaac Hayden
Hayden is likely the man to be tasked with containing on-loan Bayern Munich midfielder, Renato Sanches, who could make his Swansea debut on Sunday.
RM - Matt Ritchie
One of the first names on the team sheet for Newcastle.
CAM - Ayoze Perez
Does Benitez put Shelvey straight back into the Newcastle team? The former Swansea midfielder is returning from his three-match suspension, but could be forced to watch on from the sidelines initially.
LM - Christian Atsu
Atsu’s pace and directness will be crucial if Newcastle want to break down the resilient Swans.
ST - Joselu
The former Stoke man will be full of confidence after scoring against West Ham and he’ll be hoping to continue that form on Sunday.
