Newcastle United are reportedly the latest Premier League club to take an interest in Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro.
The Italian is looking likely to depart Juve this summer and it looks as though the Magpies are willing to take him on board as they continue to search for more quality additions.
According to a report from the printed edition of Italian newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by HITC Sport, two new top flight clubs have joined the race to land Sturaro – Stoke City and Newcastle.
Sturaro is out of contention under Max Allegri at the Serie A side, with Blaise Matuidi having arrived from PSG this month.
His fellow midfielder Mario Lemina secured a switch to Southampton from Juventus earlier on in the window, and it looks as though Sturaro won’t be short of offers from the Premier League in the final week of the window.
Newcastle will face competition from the likes of Crystal Palace for his signature.
