Newcastle don’t appear to be taking no for answer in their apparent pursuit of Inter Milan forward Stevan Jovetic.
According to a report from Italian news outlet TMW, the Montenegro international is not overly enthused by the prospect of returning to English football, having endured a difficult spell with Manchester City already.
The report claims that Jovetic himself is cautious about pursuing opportunities away from Inter, with him waiting to see what the chances are of him being a regular feature in Luciano Spalletti’s plans.

It’s stated that Rafa Benitez is adamant over a deal for Jovetic, and holds him in extremely high regard in terms of his transfer wish list.
Newcastle would reportedly need to cough up a fee of €14m for the former Sevilla striker, which is a price the Magpies would likely be willing to pay.
Jovetic is behind Mauro Icardi in the pecking order at Inter, and his first-team chances appear to be somewhat unlikely.
