Newcastle United are understood to be in discussions with West Ham over a potential move for Adrian.
According to a report from the Chronicle Live, the Magpies are keen to land the Spaniard this summer as they look to bolster their squad with Premier League experience.
Adrian is now the second choice goalkeeper at West Ham, with Joe Hart’s season-long loan from Manchester City making him Slaven Bilic’s first choice.
Although the Hammers’ boss is keen to keep hold of the experienced goalkeeper this month, he has admitted that Adrian may seek first-team football, which he would almost certainly find under his compatriot Rafa Benitez.
Rob Elliot and Karl Darlow are the two senior goalkeepers in contention for Newcastle, with the former likely to be given the nod against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. Freddie Woodman is stated to be keen on a loan spell away, also, so Benitez is evidently interested in bolstering his options between the sticks.
