Newcastle United are reportedly interested in making an ambitious swoop for Atletico Madrid attacker Angel Correa.
According to Newcastle Chronicle journalist Lee Ryder, as sourced by the Daily Star, the Magpies have identified the versatile forward as a man they would be keen to sign this summer.
Rafa Benitez is evidently keen on adding some attacking firepower to his ranks ahead of his side’s return to the Premier League, and Correa could be the perfect fit for the Magpies.

The 22-year-old is undoubtedly a talented player, and is one that is highly regarded at La Liga outfit Atletico.
However, having made 58 appearances for Diego Simeone’s side, he has only managed to notch nine goals – a somewhat underwhelming tally for a player of his ability.
Correa is a versatile player, though. Not only is he able to play up front, but also as an attacking midfielder. He was also utilised on the right hand side on occasions last season.
