Eredivisie outfit chasing Curtis Good

According to reports out in Holland, PEC Zwolle are interested in signing Newcastle United defender Curtis Good this summer.

The Australian defender is seemingly surplus to requirements for the Magpies and this has led to Rafa Benitez allowing Good to move on and discuss a transfer away with other clubs.

And according to Voetbal International today, that club could very well be PEC Zwolle, who Good is currently on trial with.

The 24-year-old has struggled with injuries throughout his tenure at Newcastle and ultimately, this has hindered his progress. He is now no longer needed in the North East and a move to Netherlands looks likely.

Good has experience of working with Zwolle manager John van ‘t Schip from his time at Melbourne City, where he impressed under the Canadian-born boss.

Newcastle have a plethora of options in the central defensive positions and Good looks to have no chance of imposing himself on proceedings next season.
