Percy claims that the two clubs have finally agreed a fee for the midfielder, following a bid that was rejected last week for Murphy.

Norwich rejected an offer in the region of £8m for Murphy, which they deemed way below his valuation.

It has been claimed that Murphy would be interested in talking to [Newcastle](https://readnewcastle.com/) about a potential move, with him and his brother Josh [Newcastle](https://readnewcastle.com/) fans growing up. This means that personal terms may be no issue in this move.

Murphy has four years left on his contract after signing a new long-term deal last season.
