Newcastle are keen to accelerate their summer dealings this month, and it looks as though they are targeting a move for Osmanlispor midfielder Badou Ndiaye.
The Senegalese international has been catching the eye of many out in Turkey, with some dominant performances in the middle attracting the interest of several clubs.
West Ham have been strongly linked with an £8.5m swoop for the midfielder in recent times, but according to Sky Sports, Newcastle join them in their interest.
Rafa Benitez is sure to be keen on adding to his current squad, with the Premier League season beginning in just over a month, and one area that he could look to bolster is his midfield.
Ndiaye is expected to leave Osmanlispor this summer, and his parent club have already revealed that they have reached an agreement, in principle, with an English club.
However, they are yet to reveal which top flight side they have been negotiating with, and it’s looking most likely that it’ll be either West Ham or Newcastle.
