Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is reportedly keen on a loan move to St James’ Park this summer, after being left out of Pep Guardiola’s plans.
The Daily Mail claim that although there is interest from elsewhere, the 30-year-old would favour a move to the Magpies. It is also believed that Hart could be stalling on his decision, as he waits for the futures of Thibaut Courtois and David De Gea at their respective clubs, to be sorted out.
Hart was immediately chucked out on loan when Guardiola arrived last year and spent the campaign with Italian outfit Torino.
He featured in almost every league game and managed to keep just five clean sheets for the club. Hart was subject to a number of poor mistakes in Serie A and comes back to City without really impressing on his loan.
The Mail say that City would prefer a move for Hart to be on a permanent basis, rather than a second loan deal in as many years.
