Newcastle are eyeing up a move for Burnley striker Andre Gray amid a contract dispute between the forward and his current club.
According to the Chronicle, Newcastle are considering a move for Gray with his future at Burnley clouded at present.
Gray is demanding £70k-per-week on a new deal at Burnley, which would go way above the club’s current wage structure.
Newcastle are thought to be ready to take advantage of this and make a move for the centre-forward to bolster their forward options for next season.

Burnley are hesitant over offering Gray £70k-a-week and could look to cash in on the striker – who would command a big transfer fee – so that they could reinvest in new additions to their squad.
Gray scored ten goals in all competitions last season – with nine coming in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old is also attracting interest from Premier League side Everton, who recently signed Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen.
