Newcastle are reportedly plotting a move to sign Enzo Perez from Valencia this summer.
According to a report from leading Spanish news outlet Marca, the Magpies are weighing up a swoop to sign the Argentine, who has underwhelmed since his big money move to the Mestalla.
Perez was signed for around £19m from Benfica in 2015 but has failed to really live up to expectations, and now he could be available in a rather cheap deal.

It’s claimed that Newcastle are considering an £8.5m move to sign the 31-year-old as Rafa Benitez looks to bolster his midfield options.
The Spanish boss is rumoured to be growing frustrated with the lack of players coming through the door at St James’ Park, so signing a player of Perez’s pedigree would certainly be a boost.
Off the back of his underwhelming performances in a Valencia shirt, Perez has lost his place in the Argentina squad, so a move where he can find first-team football on a consistent basis could be the perfect way for him to reignite his career.
