Sky are yet to disclose full details on exactly who it is that are considering a swoop to buy the Magpies, but it is interesting news for the club and their fans as they look to kick on next season.

Mike Ashley has been at the club for some time now and it’d be an exciting prospect to see investment from elsewhere arrive at the club as they prepare for the upcoming season back in the Premier League.
