According to a report from the Daily Record, the Magpies are being joined by West Brom as they weigh up a swoop for the Scotland international as they look to bolster their attacking options.

Griffiths produced a highly impressive display only yesterday as his native Scotland welcomed England in a World Cup 2018 qualifying match. The forward netted two free-kicks in quick succession to give his side a surprise lead, but the deficit was reduced in the closing moments and the game finished 2-2.
Celtic prefer to only play one up front under Brendan Rodgers and it’s safe to say that Moussa Dembele is the preferred choice, so Griffiths may find consistent first-team game time elsewhere.
