# How many points will Newcastle finish with?

Newcastle have enjoyed a dominant first season back in the Championship and look all but set to come straight back up to the Premier League next season.

Rafa Benitez has stood by the club and has led them into the 2016/17, delivering the goods as he has done so often in his illustrious managerial career.

The Magpies are currently sat in the promotion places on the Championship table and are ten points ahead of Huddersfield, who sit in third place and in contention for the play-offs.

However, Newcastle aren’t leading the race for the title and are trailing Brighton by two points after Benitez’s men fell short against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Saturday evening.

It’s a contest that is set to go right down to the wire, but it’s looking nailed on that both sides will go up. So, how many points will Newcastle finish with?
