Newcastle United will be hoping to extend their lead at the top of the Championship table when they visit Reading tomorrow night.
The Magpies are in superb form and will be full of confidence off the back of their away victories at both Brighton and Huddersfield in the last week, but will be well aware that Jaap Stam’s men could provide a potential banana skin for them.
Rafa Benitez’s men currently sit at the very top of the table and look to be closing in on promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking with every game that goes by.
A win for Newcastle would take them to 79 points, potentially eight ahead of their closest rivals Brighton. However, the stakes are high for Reading as well, with Stam’s side having the possibility of going third with a win tomorrow.
