Newcastle United will be looking to put themselves even further in the clear as they hope to continue their push towards promotion against Huddersfield Town tomorrow.
The Magpies took charge of the league once again on Tuesday evening with a dramatic win over close competitors Brighton away from home, and they’ll now be hoping that the Terriers are the next team they put to the sword.
A win for Rafa Benitez’s men would put them well ahead of their counterparts in third, with an 11 point gap potentially setting them apart and putting Newcastle in good stead for the remainder of the season.
However, it most certainly won’t be an easy encounter. David Wagner has done a magnificent job with Huddersfield this season and will be well aware that his side have more than enough quality to hurt Newcastle at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Here’s how we expect Benitez to set out his team tomorrow night.
