Predicted XI: Brighton (A)

Newcastle and Brighton have been the two pacesetters in the Championship this season with both sides trading jabs and trading places at the top of the table.

Tonight, Rafa Benitez’s men travel down south to The Amex to take on the Seagulls in a match which sees the winner go top with just 12 games to play.

In their first encounter back in September, it was Newcastle who came on top as goals from Jamaal Lascelles and Jonjo Shelvey helped the Toon to a 2-0 victory in front of the St. James’ Park faithful.

Heading into tonight’s game, Brighton sit one point ahead of Newcastle at the top of the table as both sides look to distance themselves further from the play-off places.

A win for Newcastle will not only see Newcastle regain top spot but will see them go eight points clear of third-placed Huddersfield.

Here’s our predicted XI for tonight’s game.
