# Young trio sign for Kilmarnock on loan

Newcastle trio, Freddie Woodman, Callum Roberts and Sean Longstaff have signed for Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock on loan for the remainder of the season.

Kilmarnock, who sit 10th in the Scottish top flight are looking to strengthen this January after having three on-loan players return to their respective parent clubs last week.

Charlee Adams, Flo Bojaj, Will Boyle and Jonathan Burn all left the Scottish side, which allows room for the Newcastle youngsters to join.

Woodman, a promising young goalkeeper who is an England U21s international, has been capped at every youth level for his nation.

While 19-year-old Roberts is an exciting young winger, who spent last season on loan with National League side, Gateshead.

Longstaff is another young attacker who can play as a 10 or in a deeper role.

The Scottish side are on a torrid run of form with no win in their last six, with their next fixture against Ross County set to take place on January 28th.

According to The Chronicle, a fourth Newcastle player could soon join the trio at Kilmarnock – with Jamie Sterry now a reported target.
