After another convincing win against Brentford on Saturday afternoon, Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle side head to Oakwell on Tuesday night in search of a fourth successive victory.
A Ciaran Clark header followed by a Dwight Gayle brace was enough to earn the points against the Bees at the weekend, in a game that saw Matt Ritchie left out, and Jamaal Lascelles withdrawn, both due to illness.
Benitez’s rotation policy has been in full swing so far this season, and he will look to make changes again for the trip to Barnsley for another crunch midweek clash.
There are plenty of questions to ask ahead of Tuesday night’s team sheet:
