As we all know, there has been a lot of interest surrounding Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko. Over the summer, he has been linked with moves to Everton, Juventus and Real Madrid. However, despite this interest, he has still not made a move away from St. James’ Park.
Now, according to a report in the Chronicle, Sissoko will be expected to play for Newcastle in their first home game against Huddersfield next Saturday if he has failed to secure a move away from the club by then.

The France international has been back in training with Newcastle since the beginning of August, but he did not play in Friday’s defeat to Fulham due to the fact that he was not match fit. However, Benitez has declared that he will definitely be in contention for a place in the team on Saturday.
According to a poll put forward by the Chronicle, it seems that Sissoko’s return would not be a welcomed decision among a high percentage of Newcastle fans. The poll, which was entitled “If he can’t find a move, would you welcome Moussa Sissoko back to NUFC? The statistics show that 68% voted “No if he doesn’t want to play for us he shouldn’t”. The other 32% voted “Yes, he’s a good player regardless of what he said”.
