In just under six hours Newcastle’s first match of the 2016/2017 Championship season will be underway.
The North East team have been extremely busy over the course of the summer transfer window, introducing eight new senior squad players who look to impress new boss Rafa Benitez and gain promotion back to the Premier League.
However, the Magpies aren’t the only team who bolstering their ranks. The cottagers are in the midst of reinventing themselves after their fall from the Premier League and years of misfortune.
First team coach Slavisa Jokanovic has begun his operation to change the dynamics of the team to now press and commit to attacks. During last season Fulham were no strangers to criticism over their weak defence and lack of creativity and pace, but Jokanovic seems to have answered the criticism by the addition of eight new signings over the summer.
