Brighton’s Anthony Knockaert will cost will cost Newcastle £10m to secure his services, according to the Shields Gazette.
Newcastle have been linked with Knockaert over the past few days and Brighton manager Chris Hughton has admitted the club have turned down bids for Knockaert.

Newcastle are looking to add to the squad after the big money sale of Gini Wijnaldum to Liverpool last week and have inquired about the availability of Knockaert.

The Brighton chairman has admitted they plan to keep the team together as they look to push for Championship promotion next season, and keeping Knockaert is part of that plan.
Newcastle have been busy this summer building a squad capable of getting the club back in the Premier League at the first attempt, Dwight Gayle, Matt Ritchie and Grant Hanley have all joined the club among others.
Newcastle start their season against Fulham on Friday in the opening game of the Championship season.
