Senegalese striker Papiss Cisse has attracted attention from a host of Chinese clubs, according to The Mirror.
The report states Newcastle have set an asking price of £6million for Cisse, who has just 12 months remaining on his current contract at St James’ Park. He will be able to leave Newcastle as a free agent in the summer of 2017, so it would make sense for the Magpies to offload the striker this summer – unless a new deal is on the horizon.

Cisse was brought to Tyneside by current Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew and was an instant hit – scoring 13 goals in his first 13 games in England.
Since then, Cisse has struggled to get out of the treatment room, with a string of knee injuries which have limited his game time. Even when he has been available, Papiss has often struggled to find the net and replicate the form from when he first arrived.
Cisse is currently enjoying a run of starts under Rafa Benitez, and even chipped in with a goal at Anfield a few weeks back, as the club attempt the great escape to remain in the Premier league.
