Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez has made his feelings on the disappointing 3-2 defeat at Norwich very clear by ordering players into training less than 24 hours after the game, as per The Chronicle.
Benitez has called in the entire senior squad, including coaching staff, to try and find the solution to this rut Newcastle seem to be stuck in. Benitez previously cancelled all days off and may continue to do so if results do not improve. The Spaniard has made it clear he intends to make the most of the time we have left to survive.

Benitez was reportedly unsatisfied with the performance at Carrow Road on Saturday and will look for a much better performance at Southampton this weekend.
Fellow strugglers Norwich face a trip to Alan Pardew’s out-of-form Crystal Palace, while Sunderland host table-toppers Leicester. Results could potentially go Newcastle’s way this weekend, so it is vital Benitez’s side pick up the much-needed three points against the Saints.
When discussing Newcastle’s chances of survival after the Norwich defeat, Benitez said:
It is more difficult but we have to keep confident that we can still do it.
We have seven games to go and we have to keep pushing. If we start winning games we still have time.
