Newcastle face Sunderland this weekend in the Tyne-Wear derby in what is being billed as the most important Tyne-Wear derby in history, with both clubs battling to keep their Premier league status.
Newcastle fans will be excited to see new manager Rafa Benitez in the home dugout for the first time since taking over from the former-England manager Steve McClaren. With the appointment of the former-Liverpool manager and the all important Tyne-Wear derby, the atmosphere at St James’ Park will be electric.
Only one point separates the rivals, who are also battling with Norwich City for the one place that can secure Premier league football, and many believe that the winner of the derby will stay in the Premier League.
