Within the last few minutes, we’ve seen various reports that Newcastle United lodged a fresh bid for West Brom’s Saido Berahino.
It was revealed last night that Newcastle had made a £21m bid for the striker.
Several sources offered contradictory reports on whether or not the bid was rejected or not, with fans patiently waiting to be updated on the bid’s progress.
Now, we’re hearing that the bid was indeed turned down, and that Newcastle have upped their bid to around the £25m mark in one last attempt to lure to England striker to St. James’ Park.
