Newcastle United fell to another 1-0 defeat this Christmas period, this time at the hands of West Bromwich Albion.
The team was unchanged, bar a late switch of Karl Darlow for Rob Elliot. The side looked tired – a hard game against Everton had obviously drained the team, but Steve sent the same lads out.
West Brom dominated the whole game, winning corner after corner and forcing block after block.
Paul Dummett hit the post, but Darren Fletcher headed home late on to give West Brom the win.
