Newcastle United forward Ayoze Perez has claimed that both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing him.
The 22-year-old arrived from Tenerife last summer and has scored 11 Premier League goals in the season and a half that’s he’s been in England.
Despite the apparent interest from the two Europa League sides, Perez says that he is a Newcastle player and that he is happy continuing to play and develop in the North East.

Speaking to Radio Club Tenerife, the Spaniard said:
There is truth in the talk about interest in me. It’s rewarding for me. There is much truth in the interest from Tottenham and Man United, but my place is at Newcastle.
The forward has been a bit-part player as of late, and will be hoping to become a more regular member of Steve McClaren’s starting lineup as the Magpies face a run of six games in 22 days between Boxing Day and January 16th.
It is clear that both Man United and Spurs are in the market for a striker with both seemingly short of options in that area.
