Lille are considering making a bid for Newcastle winger Yoan Gouffran, according to French reports.
The French club apparently enquired about the player earlier in December and were told that a bid of €800,000 [approximately £600,000 when converted to sterling] would be enough for Newcastle to let him go.
Gouffran has been a bit-part player at best this season, having made only four Premier League appearances, three of which were from the substitute’s bench.

The Frenchman signed for Newcastle for around £500,000 in January 2012 after Bordeaux chose to sell him rather than lose him on a free the following summer. He’s gone on to play 85 league games for the Magpies, scoring 11 goals.
However, he has seemingly fallen down the pecking order and despite having him under contract until the summer of 2017, it appears that Newcastle will be willing to let him leave in January if their asking price is met by Lille.
