It was revealed today that former Newcastle goalkeeper Pavel Srnicek was rushed to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest whilst running in his native Czech Republic.
The Chronicle, who Pavel often writes for, say that he is currently in an induced coma and in critical condition.
This news comes as a massive shock to all football fans, as Srnicek is aged just 47 and always looks lively. Several of his former teammates and current footballers have spoken out about the situation on Twitter, giving him their best wishes and thoughts.
