Ten players Newcastle could sign on pre-contracts

With under a month to go until the January transfer window opens, plenty of Newcastle fans feel that serious investment in the inconsistent squad is required.

However, with recent reports suggesting that the hierarchy are reluctant to splash the cash in the window, the Magpies could turn their attention to a multitude of players whose contracts expire at the end of the season.
