For today’s treat, we have decided to take a look at Newcastle’s current number 7, Moussa Sissoko.
The Frenchman arrived on Tyneside in 2012, alongside four of his fellow countrymen [Massadio Haidara, Yoan Gouffran, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa and Mathieu Debuchy], as Newcastle looked to finish the season strong in both the Premier League and the Europa League.
In his three years on Tyneside, Sissoko has managed 109 appearances, scoring 11 and assisting 16 in the process.
His stats may not be the most impressive, but the 26-year-old possesses the ability to win games for the Magpies and, when he wants to, can be a real asset – hence why he has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.
