According to The Chronicle, Newcastle United are looking to bring England internationals Andros Townsend and Saido Berahino to the club.
The Magpies were one of many clubs in the summer who attempted to prize Berahino away from West Brom, however, the Midlands’ club held out against a bombardment of offers for their star striker.
Townsend is believed to be joining United on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, where he has seen only 65 minutes of Premier League football this season.

Berahino has scored three times for West Brom this campaign, having come back into the team after stating he would never play for chairman Jeremy Peace every again.
However, he hasn’t scored in the league since October and failed to feature in either of the team’s last two games.
It is believed that the Magpies are closing in on a loan deal for Townsend, and that they have kept a close eye on the Berahino situation.
