# Advent Calendar – Door 2

***Count your way down to Christmas with Read Newcastle’s advent calendar, with 24 memorable moments or players between now and Christmas day.***

Today’s treat is a look back at the players who have represented Newcastle United since 1993/94 and have worn the number 2 jersey.

From Andy Griffin – scorer of *that* goal against Juventus in the Champions League – to current number 2 and club captain, Fabricio Coloccini, the contrast between the players is quite interesting.

Check back tomorrow for door number 3.
